"Say hello 2 the room where the party's jumpin'
Where the boys all freak 'cause [the] boots are bumpin'
Where the girls are naughty and always saying
'Yes u can, yes u can, yes u can'!"

I Still Dream...

The one with my so-called sister:

I woke up from my bed, and headed to the bathroom in the morning. Suddenly, a young woman in a bath towel throws open the bathroom door and jump-hugs me! I push her away from me, and ask, "What are you doing!? Who the heck are you!?".

She looks strangely like my mother, and I'm thinking she's back home from the Bahamas. But it couldn't be my mother. This woman was younger, thinner, and had different hair. She looked like a version of my mother, that I see from pictures of her in the 60s or 70s... except, my mother had really long jet-black hair. This woman had short spiky brown hair. And although the resemblance was striking, it just couldn't be her.

So then... "Who are you??!!?", I ask again. The woman just smiles at me, and adjusts her towel. Then my dad comes into the hallway from the dining room, and asks what the commotion is all about. "Who is this woman?", I ask him. He tells me he doesn't know. But he says it uneasy. "She looks too much like mom! Dad, who is she?!" My dad shrugs he doesn't know.

I remember the rest of the dream as hazy images of me hugging this woman again and again, both of us with tears in our eyes. But the frustration never left me...

Play 'Ball!

The game on Thursday was awesome!!! The Anaheim Angels tied the game 5-5 on the 9th inning, went up to 7 runs on the 14th inning! But at the bottom of that 14th inning, our home team (the mighty Montreal Expos) beat the champs by scoring 3 runs! An 8-7 victory for us! Yay! Mirella and I had such a blast! :) We're gonna be wearing our matching Expos t-shirts again tomorrow when Montreal faces the Texas Rangers; and we even made a big sign for our favorite player (who scored the winning run Thursday night) puertorrican José Vidro (#3, second-base). 'Cause we're gonna have fun! 'Cause we're gonna win again! :) 'Cause the Expos kick a$$!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Yeesh!

Golly WOW! I have been away, haven't I? Welllll...... Here's the deal. I have been becoming something of myself. Something, that I'd like to think of as, a filmmaker-in-training. I have a co-worker that indulges me by allowing my writing of the script of the short film we're making. It's based on the universe of The Matrix movies, and according to the special effects his computer is capable of, it looks to turn out quite kickin'! My friend (and co-director, co-producer) Isaac has written a short film script of his own (a whodunnit teen drama) which we will be making this summer. And my girlfriend and I have been offered parts in a movie that a fellow filmmaker-wannabe will put in production real soon. Also, I intend to drive around Puerto Rico this summer, shooting locations and people, for my own version of a cultural documentary, kinda the likes of Ron Fricke's Baraka. And I am currently still editing my theater director's video version of his latest play.

So I'm stoked!!! And busy, busy, busy! :) But happy, happy, happy! :)

My semester ended with my grades being all B's. I'll be attending Major League Baseball games, here, during the Montreal Expos' experimental visit to the island. I've seen them play the Mets, and have tickets for the Angels and the Rangers (yeah!). AND my girlfriend loves me. And I love her. Yeah, I'm taking her to the games ;)

So I'm a happy Roob'n :-)

Will Blog More Later,
Bye!
*off to finish watching The Animatrix* :-o !!!
